Silent propulsion
Electric drives and a full solar roof. Approach a cove without announcing it.
Palamós · Costa Brava
Private solar catamaran days at sea, composed around silence, a skipper, a chef, and the coves the coastline keeps to itself.
The brand
SolarCove curates private days at sea designed around silence, service and the rhythm of the Costa Brava.
This is not standard charter. Our catamarans move under solar-electric power, so the coast arrives without engine noise, without fumes, without hurry. A skipper reads the day's light and wind. A chef works with what Palamós landed that morning. You choose how little happens.
Our approach →01
Solar-electric cruising removes the engine from the experience. Conversation, water, wind — nothing else.
02
Skipper, chef and bespoke service. The day is planned before you arrive and adjusted while you rest.
03
An operated co-ownership structure for guests who want the boat, not the berth, the crew rota or the winter.

Featured experiences
The fleet
A 12-metre solar catamaran built for shade, stability and stillness. Wide flush decks, a glass-bottom lounge between the hulls, and a roof that quietly returns the day's power.

The silent solar difference
No vibration through the deck. No diesel on the breeze. Guests lower their voices without being asked, and the coast gives back sounds a conventional yacht never hears — water on rock, cicadas, a fishing boat two coves away.
It also means we anchor where noise is unwelcome, stay longer, and leave nothing behind. Sustainability, here, is simply the better version of the day.
Under way
No engine. No hurry. No audience.
At anchor
Twelve guests. One party a day.
Back at dusk
The coast, at the volume it was meant to be heard.
Ownership
For selected owners, SolarCove proposes a structured access model combining private usage, operated management and long-term optionality. You hold a share of a yacht that is berthed, crewed, maintained and chartered by one team.
Service principles
Never shared, never rushed to make a second slot.
One person from first enquiry to the last mooring line.
We move or reschedule rather than sell you a poor day at sea.
Palamós fish market, Empordà wine, producers we can name.
